A unique apartment, located in an old, early 18th-century monastery in the heart of the La Latina neighbourhood, the historic heart of Madrid, and a maze of streets immersed with its unique atmosphere. The apartment is located a few metres from the Royal Palace and the Plaza Mayor, and on Sundays, the neighbourhood is full of life thanks to the traditional flea market El Rastro. Its impressive modern, expansive layout provides guests with comfort and relaxation.

Fully connected to the living room and dining room, you will find everything you need for your stay, including a fridge-freezer, induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, washing machine and, of course, a variety of pans, pots and cutlery

Shopping
This apartment is in one of the most varied and multicultural areas of the city; full of small traditional shops, you will find artisan items, second-hand stores, squares with colourful flower stalls and even big-name clothing brand stores. But if you want to discover more in the neighbourhood, you only have to visit the Mercado de la Cebada, one of the largest food markets, and El Rastro, the famous flea market that takes place every Sunday in the capital.
Dining
La Latina neighbourhood offers a wide gastronomic offer, from the renowned Casa Lucio and its “huevos estrellados”, to the bars of Cava Baja and Cava Alta, which open their terraces in summer. Two perfect routes for lovers of traditional food.
Clubbing
If you are looking for nightlife, in summer you will find the famous Verbena de la Paloma with free outdoor concerts, or the festivities of San Isidro, the patron saint of Madrid. The famous Shoko nightclub is just a few metres from the apartment.
Culture
The neighbourhood in which the apartment is located is one of the oldest and most charismatic in Madrid, its streets retain the layout they had centuries ago. Just a few minutes walk we find the Puerta de Toledo, the Basílica de San Francisco el Grande, or the Jardines de las Vistillas. In the surroundings, you can also enjoy the Cathedral of Almudena, the Royal Palace or Plaza Mayor. The location is a must for enjoying all the most cultural tourism in the capital has to offer.
The rules
Parties
Holding parties in the apartment is absolutely forbidden – the apartment is located in a building where other people have their homes, so it is extremely important to show them respect by not being noisy and especially keeping noise to a minimum between 11 pm and 10 am. That way, they can get a good night’s sleep!
Noise
Try not to make strange noises or run in the building’s common areas, especially at night. Following these noise-related rules is important for other people in the building and our relationship with them, so we ask you to comply with them. Please do not rent one of our apartments if you think it will be hard to follow these rules.
Smoking
Smoking is forbidden in the apartment, including the living room, kitchen, bathrooms and all the bedrooms. However, feel free to smoke on the terrace. Please be clean and careful, and refrain from using glassware or plates as ashtrays.
Lost keys
The front door to the apartment has a Fichet security lock. If you lose your keys, a new set will involve a cost of €90. You will receive a text message upon your arrival with the number of keys we have delivered to you. If you have lost your keys, please contact your host as soon as possible.
In case of non-compliance….
In case of non-compliance with these rules or if other residents make legitimate complaints, we will deduct 50% of your deposit. If this situation continues, you will be expelled from the apartment with no right to a refund for time not used, and the deposit will not be returned. If an object breaks or gets lost, please let us know as soon as possible so we can replace the item as soon as possible. If the item is of low value, such as a glass, plate, etc. we will not make any deductions from the deposit. Any other kind of damage or loss will mean a deduction for the amount of the damage.
Our beds
We highly value your rest. All beds are made to the highest standards for comfort; mattresses and pillows are memory foam and hypoallergenic, as is the 100%-cotton bed linen.
